Today I would like to dedicate my page to a friend's pet above. Please

keep my friend and family in your prayers as they deal with the loss

of a friend - their beloved pet, this past weekend.

 Thank you.

Nearly 1 billion viewers worldwide tuned in to watch the fairy-tale wedding of Lady Diana Spencer and England's Prince Charles in 1981. And like many brides, her nerves got the better of her during the ceremony. She mistakenly called her new husband Philip Charles rather than Charles Philip.

Cyclist and cancer survivor Lance Armstrong shattered the world record when he won his seventh consecutive Tour de France in 2005. The legendary athlete got his start by professionally competing in triathions at age 16 - until he realized that cycling was, by far, his top sport.

Legendary actor and comedian Bob Hope died at the age of 100 in 2003. Before making it big, he had a short - and rather unsuccessful - career in boxing at age 16 under the name Packy East.

Steven Spielberg's dpic historical drama Saving Private Ryan premiered in 1998. Spielberg wanted a relatively unknown actor for the role of Private James Francis Ryan. But the time the film was released, Matt Damon had already shot to stardom for his Oscar-nominated leading role in Good Will Hunting.

Talk about a triple threat: Actress, singer and fashion designer Jennifer Lopez was born in Bronx, New York, in 1969. Hear her next as the voice of Shira, the Sabre-tooth tiger, in the newly released Ice Age 4: Continental Drift.

The quintessential summer treat, the ice cream cone was first sold in the U. S. at the 1904 World's Fair in St Louis. Before the cone took off, vendors served scoops in a small glass called a "penny lick." Customers would lick their dessert - which cost a penny - and return the empty dish to the vendor to be washed.

I love inspirational quotes and sayings.

They are often short and always

powerful nuggets of wisdom.

Whenever I read them,

I am inspired to take action.

NOTE:

I know many of you reading this have

endured the loss of a dear pet.

The following quotes are all so true.

So to my Aunt Dot, Loreen, Ann, Renate and Jeff,

and to all those who have lost a

pet - I post these quotations for you.

"Heartbreak is life educating us."

(George Bernard Shaw)

"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's

soul remains unawakened. "

(Anatole France)

"Grief is like the ocean; it comes
on waves ebbing  and flowing. Sometimes the
water is calm, and  sometimes it is overwhelming.
All we can do is  learn to swim."
(Vicki Harrison)

"Death ends a life,
not a relationship."

(Jack Lemmon)

"A pet is never truly forgotten until it

is no longer remembered."

(Lacie Petitto)

"If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die

I want to go where they went."

(Will Rogers)

“The risk of love is loss, and the price of loss is grief.

But the pain of grief is only a shadow when compared

with the pain of never risking love.”

(Hilary Stanton Zunin)

"God's finger touched him, and he slept."

Alfred, Lord Tennyson

Below is a note I would appreciate all you taking the time to read.

Not only did the fact that her 92 yr old friend may benefit from my

pages really touch me, but in the 2nd paragraph she explains something

that may make you just click from now on. Name has been deleted for

privacy. Thank you ..... now, please read and take the seconds.

The main purpose of this note is to say something that you can feel free to share with your multitude of readers. It's this; being an essentially lazy person, I almost always by-passed the "Click Here" button. Well......the other day I did it and timed myself. With my old, slow computer, it took literally ten seconds to get in, click and get out. I love animals........70 seconds a week is a pittance in terms of time!!

Thanking you once again,

Welcome back after the weekend. Thank you all for

joining me. I do hope you are sharing me with friends,

family and groups you might be in? Please spread the

inspiration, the hope, the faith, just the "ALL"  of my pages.

Join me tomorrow as I close out the last day of July.

Be safe and always aware of everything and

everyone around you. God Bless each and everyone.

Till tomorrow I wish ....

HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU
