This week I will be featuring five days of clarinet music.
I hope you will enjoy. Thank you to my friend Loreen
for sharing this beautiful music with me.
HISTORY OF THE CLARINET
The history of the clarinet has roots in the earliest woodwind
instruments-the instrument we now know as the clarinet
evolved from an
earlier single reed instrument. Today's
clarinets dominate the woodwind
family, with more than
a dozen different types that range in size and pitch.

Arranging a bowl of flowers in the
morning can give a sense of quiet in a
crowded day - like writing a
poem or saying a prayer.
~ Anne Morrow Lindbergh
richness of our life together, those early mornings
setting out, those evenings gleaming with rivers
and lakes below us, still holding the last light.
~ Anne Morrow Lindbergh
We need to find God, and he cannot be found in
noise
and restlessness. God is the friend of silence.
See how nature - trees,
flowers, grass - grows in
silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun,
how they
move in silence... We need silence to
be able to touch souls.
~ Mother Teresa
Be faithful in small things
because it is in them that
your strength lies.

1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
2 cups sliced fresh or frozen fruit of your choice
Preheat

Melt the butter in a 10 inch cast iron skillet.
Mix dry ingredients with milk. Pour half the melted

I'm glad I'm funny.
I'm glad I make people happy,
because that's very important.
But most proud to be
known as a kind person ...
because kindness
spreads, and the world is
a little nicer out there.

I have included the ones from over

House Mouse will be
taking a long vacation
They will return again
one day ....
In place of HouseMouse,
I have chosen to share a
variety of things here,
and today I have chosen
a couple of recipe cards to print
and some links for printables.
I have often printed a dozen or so of recipe cards, tied
a ribbon around them and have given as gifts or inserted
in a snail mail card. I would enjoy feed back on anything
I post to see if there is interest in this sort of post. Thank you!
