Did you know today is: World Gratitude Day?

The United Nations established this day to thank the
people who've acted in the spirit of Globalism.
It's also a day to show gratitude to people in your
life who've done good deeds. Yes today is all one
big ball of gratitude that should leave everyone
feeling warm and fuzzy.

Fall for 2012 begins in the Northern Hemisphere on
September 22, 10:49 A.M. EDT.
From here on out, the temperatures begin to drop and the
days start to get shorter than the nights.

The Autumnal Equinox

The word equinox comes from the Latin words

for "equal night." The fall and spring equinoxes

A happy heart is a good medicine and a positive

ICE CREAM APPLE PIE SHAKES

MAKES 4 SERVINGS.

1 pint vanilla ice cream

2 cups frozen sliced apples

1/2 cup milk

1/3 of a 9" double crust apple pie

Cut 4 very small wedges from 1/3 pie, set aside.
In blender, combine remaining wedge of pie, apples,
and 1/3 cup milk. Blend until nearly smooth.
Blend in ice cream, a scoop or two at a time.
Divide among 4 glasses. Top with reserved
pie wedges, then SERVE...

Fall - just not what follows, but then again,
I would not dream of living anywhere that
does not have "the seasons."

a large quantity of Fall pictures to share
