take a moment to also remember and honor all of those who have given their
life in defense of this great country and thank a public safety person,
whether police, fire, EMS or communications professional for their
dedication and commitment to duty. Just don't read this or think about it, do it if the opportunity arises.
We have all been there and done that, and the Internet and mailings will be full of such sends. While that is more than okay, I have chosen to take
a different approach to the day in remembering
with offering photos and such that are comforting
to the eye, and maybe give us hope, faith
and always in displaying our patriotism.

troubled and difficult times.

Coconut Cream Cake
Bake one yellow cake mix, as directed, in a 9×13 inch dish.
While cooling, make holes all over the surface of the cake.
Mix one 15 ounce can of Cream of coconut with one large
can of sweetened condensed milk and pour all over the top of the cake.
When cool, ice cake with Cool Whip.
Refrigerate. Serves 15.
Note: Cream of Coconut can be found in the
alcoholic drink mix isle or near the
sweetened condensed milk.
