Featuring some "STILL ART" today
I love quotes -- they give us a chance to
bypass all the churning and scoop the cream
right off the top. And that's what quotes
are - the cream of our learning. I often quote
others to better express myself .....
"All the adversity I've had in my life,
all my troubles have strengthened me ...
You may not realize it when it happens, but
a kick in
the teeth may be the
best thing in the world for you."
Walt Disney
"Happiness is when what you think,
what you say, and what you
do are in harmony."
Mahatma Gandhi
"I know in my heart that man is good.
That what is right will
eventually triumph.
And there is purpose and worth to
each and every life."
Ronald Reagan
"The dream begins with a teacher who
believes in you, who tugs and pushes
and leads you tot he next, sometimes
poking you with a sharp stick
call truth."
Dan Rather
Yesterday I worked outside most of the day mulching.
I then came inside after resting a bit and
prepared our dinner and then retired to my computer
and opened email to find a overwhelming amount
of mail. While many of you wrote and visited my guest
book to tell me how happy you were that I will be
doing my daily pages again - I became more overwhelmed
at the words, the kindness and tones of all the mail.
While I realized many of you missed my pages, I did not
realize just how much. I even learned that a friend I
found on here when I first began using a computer has
cancer and she said my pages inspired her and
gave her comfort. I cannot begin to tell you all just
how you have made me feel. Thank you so much.
I have chosen one email to share with all of you
as like all the messages, this one ran right straight
for my heart. Name has been deleted for privacy.

Hi Susan
There is one thing for sure in life.
One realizes how much one appreciates
something/someone only after it is been taken from you.
It is not that I feel entitled to your pages
but that I realized that
when I got up in the morning,
I took my meds, poured myself a glass of orange juice,
sat at the computer and opened my e-mails.
The first thing I did was always looked for your page
and started my day with your daily
inspirations, the lovely photos,
the words and music.
When you decided to do pages
only on Monday and Friday,
I felt lost in the morning.
I really do think this is your calling
and I so appreciate
your daily pages.
So looking forward to seeing you every day
in my mail.

Again, thank you ALL for the kind words and appreciation.
There was just too many emails to answer
individually .....
I sign off today with reminding you to be safe. Be always
aware of everything and everyone around you.
Till tomorrow - I wish
"HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU"
