The History of Candy Corn

Candy corn has been around for more than 100 years. George Renninger, an employee of the Wunderlee Candy Company, invented the popular confection in the 1880s and Wunderlee became the first to produce the candy. The Goelitz Candy Company (now Jelly Belly Candy Company) started producing the confection in 1900 and still produces candy corn today.

When candy corn first appeared, it was popular among farmers because of its agrarian look. The tri-color design was considered revolutionary and the public went crazy for it. Lack of machinery meant that candy corn was only made seasonally from March to November. Candy corn has remained unchanged for more than 100 years and is a favorite at Halloween.

Note from me: This year I discovered candy corn

flavored M&M's and they are delicious! Also, the

Oreo cookie comes with the middle flavoring of

candy corn, but all the grocery stores here

sell out as quickly as they get them in, so I

have not tasted them, but guess what? I bet

they are quite tasty too!

FIND A REMEDY!

No matter what you're doing today, whether

it's washing the dishes, sending an email,

meeting with a client or doing something you

absolutely hate, try doing it with excitement.

If you get excited about it, several things will

happen. You will connect to the light that is

available for you in that moment; if you add

excitement when you hate something, you

will break free of the comfort zone that

keeps your life limited and move into the realm

of making the impossible - possible!

Ultimately, injecting an energy like love or

excitement into something automatically

will make everything you do into a

source of fulfillment ....
