HEAVEN'S BAKERY

As I stood in line admiring luscious pastries thru

the glass case, I asked the teenage clerk which she

would suggest. Casting cornflower-blue eyes heavenward,

she tapped her dainty chin with one finger before

answering in a wistful voice.

"I recommend the blueberry cheesecake. When I

eat it, I hear angels." Now, I ask you, what higher

recommendation is there? What greater hope have we

than heaven? Maybe they'll even serve blueberry

cheesecake there!

Crockpot Chicken Drumsticks

3 1/2 pounds chicken drumsticks, skin removed
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

Place drumsticks in a crockpot.

In a medium bowl, stir together soy sauce,

brown sugar, garlic, and tomato sauce.

Pour sauce over chicken.

Cover, and cook on Low heat 8 hours.

Happy Friday everyone - this has been a short week it seems.

My son and family are gearing up for a cruise to Mexico this

weekend. They will be gone all week and be enjoying much

warmer and tropical weather, not to mention just a change

of scenery. They will catch a cruise ship out of Florida and

sail away. I am so happy for them to be able to get away. They

both work very hard and are so deserving of this time to

relax and enjoy life aboard a cruise ship. Here is wishing I

would fit in their suitcase.

I have to say thank you again for all the continued email and

guest book entries. I so appreciate hearing from all of you.

Do have a good weekend, be safe out there and always

aware of everything and everyone around you. Thank you for
